I want to give a very humble thanks to the motorsports gods and goddesses for a relatively easy day. No traumas, no concussions, no ALS calls, no fly-outs. All in all, the whole track had a great day. -

Bamboo fishing pole?
I picked out two perfect bamboo poles today. I even tried "casting" with them. They are delightfully flexy and springy.
I'm curious to know whether they will maintain that springiness when they are dried. They are still green now. Also, they are not absolutely perfectly straight. I can't see how that would be a problem for a fishing pole. I mean ( Read more... ) -
