I don't think you know who i am but i must tell you that i have been reading your writing. I enjoy it because it's an amazing thing to read. You and Frank are great writers and keep it up because i really like reading it. Just thought i had to tell you.

When i was little, i would go to a park by my house for hours. I suppose it wasn't exactly a park because all it had was swings. But i would close my eyes and swing, listening to the wind rush past my ears and the squeak of the rusty swingset. I would pretend i was somewhere away from here..

I never wanted to open my eyes until you told me to.

I sat on those same swings yesturday..with my contacts in, I saw the dead grass and the broken leaves and the shadows. I saw the shadow of myself trying to be someone I will never be. Someone like you.

Great job Teddy. Keep it up.

tony, you just got showed up. listen you fuck, as you can clearly see, teddy is not 'common'. He has already changed this person's view, and in doing so he has accomplished more than you ever will.
saying that no one could write your football story is just crap. First of all you don't put your own experiences into it, it means nothing. It enrages me that you think me and teddy are common. You find me ONE other person in our school who can write with such genius, and i will forever be in your debt. you will never match up to him no matter what you write. and stop writing all your comments double spaced and in poetry form... it's definately not poetic

whoever this is, leaving the anonymous comment, it was very good. i respect it a lot.

Thank you to all of you have taken the time to read and actually think about what i'm trying to say this, and better yet applying it to your own life. If i can change one life in a positive manner through my words and my thoughts, then i feel as if i have made a different, and am no longer "common" as some of you seem to think. Thank you

This is Thyde, i dont think your common.
I think you are a very exceptional writer, especially for your age.
I may know nothing about writing, but i can read..and as long as i can, i can tell the diffrence between something good and bad.
Teddy you are a good writer, in fact you are better than what i heard from others.
This was a good entry and i have nothing against you anymore, i never really did.
I got rid of my journal, thats not really "me"
and im not really seeking anyones approval.

I didnt even read the replies anyone wrote, so without any idea of the comments...good or bad, i will leave you with this

Hey Teddy, I think it's horrible how people only see things as beautiful because it's what they hear from others. People act like they're too afraid to really see what's beautiful because what's beautiful to them, may not be to someone else. It's a common thing. Young girls think that tall, skinny, blonde hair, and blue eyes are beautiful because thats what theyve been taught to think. They see it all the time all over the place, but they dont see that theres other things more beautiful. People need to really open theyre eyes and see whats around them, see how beautiful life really is. It's not just one thing that is beautiful, it's the combination of different things that makes this place so beautiful. Anyway, yea, i mostly just wanted to comment though to say that your writing is amazing. keep writing and keep smiling.
