Bumming around on the online Java documentation, I found something wonderful: Java has stacks. And, b/c they extend vectors, they can do wonderful, wonderful things. Oh, yeah, and you can start variables in Java with dollar signs

Come fall, my Java is going to look a lot like Perl. I wonder how much my professors will dislike that.

I hadn't realized how long it's been that I haven't been paying attention to the classical-CD market (my "new" recording of the B Minor Mass is from 2003), so I decided tonight to check out what's come out in the meantime.

It took about fifteen minutes after I put up my rewritten Scrutiny as the main site (and sent a note about it to the NOTE mailing list) that I got the feature request I was dreading: make it look prettier.
