How cold is it?
As the temperature has continued to plummet, I have hit on a way to tell how cold I am. Basically, it is that when asked if I want either a cup of tea or another hot wter bottle,, my default has shifted to the bottle.
Oh, how I wish we had some kid of central heating in the house. Or any kind of heating, really.

After the dilatation on Wednesday I've been feeling a little bruised (nothing unusual in that) but following my first meal of something other than soft mushy stuff since I am really uncomfortable ( Read more... ) -
A bit out of it
Back from hospital (eventually). Sort of wobbly, sore, but it was successful. The consultant did the dilation, stretching my oesophagus to 12 mm. So my diet remains impacted, mainly soft foods still, but I'm less likely to choke or block.
Bed now.
