it's my birthday today. I got less than three hours of sleep last night, and STILL did not finish all my schoolwork. :( so i feel like crud today, physically. I've had to pare down my friends list. Not that i don't love all of you, but school will be kicking my butt hardcore this year, so I have to keep it to the bare minimum of distractions.

I had my old guy Dib put to sleep this morning. He stopped swallowing on his own when I was force feeding him, and last night I'm afriad he might have inhaled some food. I got dib when he was 5ish from a shelter, and he was just getting over being ill, so was underweight when we got him. he recovered fine, but has always been a bit thin and frail. Recently, he lost some weight, and i saw him paw at his mouth and he lost strength in his hind legs-all classic signs of insulinoma, so I took his blood glucose at home ( Read more... )
