This past weekend I got a job working for Office Max (which is an American office supply store), and I'm about to head off for it and will write a much more detailed update about life later, but....
Last night was the first time I felt like I haven't made a mistake about the direction of my life. That maybe I was right, choosing writing as my career path. I'll always have doubts. If I ever get published, I will still be amazed that I actually accomplished my dream

Last Wednesday was my first therapy session. I feel conflicted about it. In this first session, I barely scratched the surface of everything I needed to say about my feelings and what I'm going through and the suicide. I still don't know if it will help. This past week was spring break. I've very much enjoyed being able to sleep in until 9 a.m. every morning. <3 But even with the extra hours, I manage to feel tired. (Doesn't help that I had plenty of homework still, but at least I got to read and catch up on some shows this week, too

Tonight, I received an email from the editor-in-chief of Touchstones literary magazine, one of several magazines my university funds. It was confirmation that two of my writing pieces were going to be published in this spring's issue. The pieces are called "Salt of the Earth" and "Disillusion", prose and poetry respectively. I should be only happy

Last Thursday I attended my first ever poetry reading. There's a small coffee shop close to my college, The Coffee Pod, that has bi-weekly readings. Anyone can go stand up at the mic and recite a poem, whether it's written by you or a famous poet like Collins or Blake (as long as you give credit, of course). My best friend Autumn and our friend
