Day 1 at sea
We pulled out of San Fran at 16:40 local time and headed South towards Mexico. So far the other passengers have an average observed age of 75! Saw a couple of expensive 'call girl' types in line when checking in...thank God I brought the wife or I'd be broke ( Read more... ) -
married a month
and loving it! Fran is a wonderful person and I'm very happy and excited about the baby. I'd like to once again thank everyone for all their support and love. Things are going great and life is always looking up except for my Dad who's cancer has expanded pretty rapidly. So other than that, I'm pretty happy.

a good reason not to vote liberal or pc
I know a lot of folks are going to vote stupidly this election; 'A vote for anyone other than the Liberals is a vote for Harper' is one scheme the Liar..oops Liberals are using. The PC's are pretending to be fiscally responsible and are 'proud of what we've done for the economy and debt.' Well heres a reason they've been able to do that ( Read more... ) -

So I'm thinking; "Gee wouldn't it be great to get married?" So I ask Fran and she's like "Sure". So I'm thinking; "Hmmm how about really soon, like before we goto Mexico?" is good. My stress levels are way down, due to a number of factors; work is good, its easy to get around places, Fran is awesome, house is great, weather is great, things are working out just fine ( Read more... ) -
I'm pretty much totally happy today
yep, with the heat my right knee finally stopped bugging me and with that gone I can happily say I'm totally doing fine! We're still exploring Courtenay and the local area, and having a great time doing it. Fran is getting used to her new job, and slowly making friends, and I'm just enjoying not having to rush anywhere anymore ( Read more... ) -

wandered around town today and went to one of my favorite hang outs, a coffee shop called Zocalo downtown. A local girl named Amber was performing, we'd caught her a week ago at the Ganja fest..opps the 'Bikes to someplace' charity thing. I love live acts, and she's got a very cool style, sort of like Dylon and Jewel, but a bit more rambling. ( Read more... ) -

Fran and I talked about it, and frankly, we both agree its not worth the $300 odd bucks to go. Disel is now $6.75 a gallon up here, and its beyond ridiculus! I think we'll stay closer to home this summer and explore the ( Read more... ) -
wierd happenings
So I'm looking over the yahoo mail for Cragmere and there's talk about a Tir Righ Wiki page. "Cool" I think, so I jump on and take a look. No suprise, no Sgain (bfd). But, there's a Myranda page, so I take a look and am very pleased to see the many heartfelt words there. I get kind of choked up (heck I've been sick and stress for 2 weeks or so ( Read more... ) -

Nothing to report really. House is sold, closure on 25th of April. Still not sure if being sued by Esther (her lawyer is being catty). Still getting bills for C's estate. Hate the snowy weather, but looking forward to summer. Had fun at Birka, but feeling really dizzy (spring is in the air). Shoulder sore, going to do the hot yoga thing ( Read more... )
