I bought my own kayak and we went on a four hour trip on the Muskegon River with Lanciaux and Klingels. We put in at Croton and got out at Newaygo. It was so much fun! It was alot like tubing. Yesterday I took my first river trip in a kayak. We didn't get going until late in the day, in fact it was 5:20 when we left the dock in Hesperia (behind Ed's). It was sunny and high 60's and only a little windy. I was merely frightened, not as bad as terrified, as they helped me get ready and into the water. Yippeeee!!! I got the job I wanted!!!!! I start Feb 2. Yipeeee!!!!

I keep thinking I would like to get a dog. You have to walk a dog when you live in town, so that would get me some exercise. Except dogs don't always leave you alone when you want them to. You have to pick up their poop, too. And it would be more difficult to travel, since arrangements would have to be made. I don't want a cat again because I ( Read more... )

I forgot to say that Dean loved his Boston Red Sox shirt! He already wore it today. He says Thank you!!! Dad liked the gift card, too, though he recognized my handwriting on the card. I told him you had sent me the money and I just picked it up for you.

Well, for me the Christmas Celebration is over. It was lots of fun. Christmas at Kim's was great = good presents, good food, good company. And a great house.
