I have been experimenting with traps, and have managed to capture a few varieties of wild fowl. I wonder if they taste like chicken?

I do believe we need a book club.

In other news, is that your pile of clothing in the corner that's emitting the really unpleasant smells, Akaya? Also, I now have a great many of those glowy insects. They make interesting pets.

Shall we have a Rikkaidai reunion dinner? Bring your own catch.

Now that the storm is over and there are no immediately pressing matters at hand (other than our failure to be rescued), I find myself turning to more...academic pursuits.

Please don't mind the containers of glowing insects in the caves. I am determining the optimal environmental and feed conditions for the greatest luminescence.

My fringe is starting to obscure my vision. I wonder if I can find a sharp pair of scissors.
