Monday will go down as the most memorable night of my summer. My boss had our entire staff up for a cottage party at his place in Clydesville. Rob's cottage is tiny, but they have a huge gorgeous property and this amazing barn that they could honestly turn into a bar and charge cover for. Wow, I need to catch my breathe. This is just surreal. I just got a call from the "Gift of Life," the bone marrow registry that asked me to go for a blood test about a month ago because they thought I might be a match for someone. It turns out, I am. Today...um nix that...yesterday was City of Ottawa-filled start to finish, they had us up and at in-service training at 8 AM pretending to drown in freezing cold water. Yesterday we celebrated the coming of the summer solstice with some serious pool lounging. The sun was nice enough to leave me with a killer sunburn as a souvenir of our chill day.
