It turns out that I discovered I've been listening to a music album all wrong for the past year. You see, I downloaded the album "And" from Jonah Matranga's website when it was released (www.jonahmatranga.com, in case you are curious). the photo shoot
V and I had a lengthy photo shoot with our magnificently talented friend D today. There are some real keepers in that bunch and I can't wait to share, but there are 500 photos, so that might take a while. As with all things about me, patience is probably going to be rewarding. -
T Minus 4 Days
I've only got 4 days left in New Zealand before heading back over to my real and hectic life. There are a lot of parentheses in this post, so just read along at a ramble.

Just a bit of catch-up here.
So, I was in Cyprus just a few weeks ago, as a diversion from my more extended trip to New Zealand. I can't believe how far Europe is away from New Zealand. My second week in Wellington has been moderately eventful, although nothing so much as last week, what with the absence of His Excellency William McCormick from my schedule. One week in Wellington
I've been in New Zealand for almost a week now. I still feel like I haven't settled in and I've only got 7 weeks left (1 of which is spent traveling between here and Cyprus). First, let me comment on the internet situation: it sucks. I have yet to visit a business or cafe that offered free wireless to its customers. Otherwise, you need to subscribe ( Read more... ) -

The reading group that I am part of (which some of you are part of) is voting on books now. There seems to be general interest in reading World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War, but I have to say that this book is my absolute last choice for a reading group. I enjoy the occasional zombie film, but I am generally not a big fan of "horror ( Read more... ) -
Man drive car, wheel go boom!
As I was biking home down Sawtelle Ave. this evening, a car cacophonously pulled up behind me at a red light and proceed to rattle very loudly. Rock Band Heart Attack
My roommate invited people over yesterday for a bit of Rock Band co-op. After 5 hours of swapping instruments and a few beers, I couldn't fall asleep. However, I conquered the hard songs on the drums that had for so long eluded me! Plus, I got to improv sing a few songs I had never even heard before.
