It was strange but good. My kids said it was the best ever.. Forrest had a hard time on Christmas eve wishing it was just us but he got it on Christmas day and was really happy. Happy kids are the best. I'm ready for 2016 to be over and am excited for 2017. Time heals all wounds.

Today was the day that I got all my stuff out of Levi's house....no turning back, no more hoping something will change, be different or that we can end this time we've shared with anything other than hurt & bitterness. I loved my trip to NOLA but that's because I just love that city, the people, the vibe, the architecture....pretty much everything. Getting the news that Levi does have stage 4 cancer on my trip was not good. Glad I came but happier to be going home.

This place is as amazing as I remember it. I was hung way over today but yesterday was so worth it. We are staying across the street from the Country Club which was an old gay bath house now turned restaurant/bar communal pool party. I'm loving staying in a neighborhood and hanging with the locals. I love this city!

Nothing different just making it each day. Working hard and ready to feel free & not heartbroken.

I slept better last night even though I was worried that I wouldn't be able to because of something really mean & nasty that was written about me here in my personal journal space. I bought a bed, a mattress & a sofa today & moved into My new place. Super sad & exciting all at once. This shit is hard & hurts like hell.
