I had a horrible no good bad dream and thankfully woke up. Now I've been up for about an hour. I dream very vividly (and noisily, talking in my sleep-- I've been told) so bad dreams can be very frightening. Size 14 Carbon Footprint
I'm turning over a new leaf beginning tonight after reading this! I've been leaving both my laptop & office computer on every night-- just logging off, not shutting down. I wonder what else I'm leaving on. . . -

Bella & Turbo are finally settling into their new home. I waited until Friday to bring them up so I could be with them a full day. Getting them into their carriers was a herculean task. When I changed my delivery address last week I was assured by the real-live telephone customer service representative that my Sunday New York Times would be delivered straight to my door beginning today. I questioned him on this since all the other papers in the neighborhood are delivered to the row of mailboxes down at the beginning of our road. ( Read more... ) -

Sweet Retreat

Tell me it isnn't true! Another childhood favorite is about to be cruelly mistreated. Or am I just over-reacting? I ADORED these books and I'm dreading to see what's been done to it. But like a car wreck or Britney Spears, I'm unable to look away. -
