So it turns out that the campgrounds at Yellowstone don't open until the end of May, and all the lodges/inns are totally booked. Spending just a scant few hours in Yellowstone just isn't enough. Maybe we can find someplace to stay in Montana?

Imposing arbitrary deadlines on myself doesn't really work. The truth is, I know those deadlines are just some dates I made up for myself, so I never feel pressured to meet them. I made a mess with paper and glue and pens and paint. Unfortunately I am displeased with the results and am trying to figure out a way to salvage these sad attempts. And now it is time to clean my room -- or at least make it cleaner than it is right now.

My sister has already starting thinking about my birthday present and was frustrated with my amazon wish list which was full of not-yet-published books. I finished packing in about 5 minutes, which has me convinced that I'm forgetting some stuff. I have some clothes, toiletries, socks and undies, a purse, and rain jacket. I hurt myself every time I try to navigate the hallway to get to my room. My dresser is in the narrow hallway, so I have to turn sideways to get through the door. Our house is tiny, and everything was taken out of the bedroom. Dressers and nightstands are lined up in the hallway, and the bed is in the living room.
