The thing I'm chiefly doing just now is preparing for a feast I'm cooking this weekend. I never really understood the mentality of the Snowbird - closing up a home here in Ontario for five or so months and hieing off to points south, but I do now. Today's what's next is simple - take down all the Christmas decorations and the tree, except for the driveway lights which I leave up and actually keep on until it stops being so dark.

The whole point of the "what's next" approach is that there can only be one thing that's next!  Duh! It doesn't obviate the need for a to-do list, it just means that one isn't staring at a list as long as one's arm.  My first "what's next" was to ensure that I had my texts, and now I do.  So - on to the next one!

In a cream tea place in Cornwall!  What a fate!  I stopped posting because I wanted to put in web links. I suck.  We did actually finish our walk and it was stellar.  We spent a night at Jamaica Inn, which was definitely haunt-worthy, though we didn't see any ghosts.
