right now i am drinking alcohol for the first time since i tested. if i had my way, i would be completely wasted all the time until i had a miscarriage. then i would cheer and cry in happiness for days and months. but i don't think things like this happen. like when you're hoping for your period, you're less likely to actually get it because of ( Read more... )

i know nothing about abortion...
but when you do this, does it screw up your chances for getting pregnant in the future?

yeah it all depends.
on the procedure that you use and who does it and how your body reacts.

mostly it's how your body reacts.

"usually" there is no difference in your fertility. it's an induced miscarriage and 30% of pregnancies result in miscarriage anyway, usually before the woman even realizes she's missed her period in the first place.

so yeah. in short: it all depends.

It can depend on a lot of things, your body, the procedure, the practitioner.

Yeah, some women have suffered infertility as a result of an abortion. On the other hand, some women have carried pregnancies to *term* and been later unable to get pregnant.

Ok i understand support.. but what exactly is there to respect her for? That she has the "courage" to have an abortion? That she is afraid, at 19, to tell her parents of her "laudable" decision? I dont get it.

Been in the guys position before. And he's handling it like he should in most aspects- a man. It's not anything i've really ever publically admitted because, hell, it isn't much of the publics buisness. But, I'm very happy you're keeping in good spirits and haven't lost your wit and are taking care of everything. You have my best wishes and 100% support!
