Well, I got here ok and have both checked in to the hotel and got my badge. I've made a first couple of passes through the Huckster's Room. Spent about $50.00 at Dave Clark's table. Videos.
The Dealer's Room is about usual for Baycon. More costume people and fewer jewelry than in some years. Some book dealers. Only two with knives/swords. Not much

Lisa says hello and sorry that she couldn't make the trip down but instead asked me to come up to Oregon instead. The tinnitus is taking a whole lot out of her, limiting her ability to travel.

Happy anniversary.

Maybe not so many Catholics came this year or maybe, like me, they went to Mass at Our Lady of Peace, which is very nearby. Since I'm working nights now, I am asleep Sunday morning and rely on the 5:00 p.m. vigil Mass on Saturdays.

I think a few might have done so. The Northern California Catholic Charismatic Congress was also going on in the Convention Center. It is (barely) conceivable that a few might have sneaked into one of their Masses -- although Charismatics do take a little getting used to.

I was one of those present on Sunday and your preaching made sense to me - although I was also suffering from sleep deprivation at the time, so my judgment may be slightly skewed :-)
