The Monday before Baycon I went in to the doctor because I've been having a lot of joint pain in my hands. I suspected osteo-arthritis. The doctor took a look and ordered x-rays. This is Kaiser in Richmond, by the way. Anywho, I go down to the radiology dept. and they gave me a wristband. Which the radiologist promptly removed. Three views of ( Read more... )

Well, I got here ok and have both checked in to the hotel and got my badge. I've made a first couple of passes through the Huckster's Room. Spent about $50.00 at Dave Clark's table. Videos.
The Dealer's Room is about usual for Baycon. More costume people and fewer jewelry than in some years. Some book dealers. Only two with knives/swords. Not much ( Read more... )

She went back to school this morning. Doing MUCH better. Thanks for all thoughts and prayers.

Grace is going home today. They are just waiting on paperwork. She'll be getting some home treatment.
