Just like game 1, the Flyers found themselves in a hole.  Trailing 0-2, they came back again, only to lose the tie.  After trading goals with the Pens, the Flyers finally took the lead for good and trounced the 'Cup Favorites' 8-5.  It wasn't pretty but the 2-0 series lead is a good thing.  Keep it going, guys!

The Flyers and the Penguins opened up the playoffs with a thriller.  Missed calls by the refs (on both sides), domination in the first period by the Pens and a total turnaround by the Flyers in the second, third and OT.  Trailing 0-3, the Flyers battled back to tie the game and win it 4-3 in OT.  Way to bounce back, guys.  Let's hope for a more ( Read more... )

Three weeks in HELL and I made it home last night.  I'm exhausted.

Gonna be out of touch for a few weeks.  Leaving later this morning to go to HELL.  I, alone, am going to my grandmother's to help her through a medical situation.  No computer, no internet service and the bare basic of basic cable (less than 30 watchable channels).  It's not gonna be fun.  I hope I make it back alive. 

Last Night's season finale of the Walking Dead was awesome!  Jimmy and Patricia were eaten alive, the farm is gone, Rick has become a tyrant and they introduced a new character, Mischon(?) that saved Andrea.  Action-packed from the get-go.  Can't wait for season 3!

Congrats to the Flyers for their 3-2 win with 1.9 seconds left in OT.

Ilya Bryzgalov's shutout streak has ended at 249 minutes and 43 seconds.  With 6 and a half minutes left in last night's game, the Flyers fell apart.  Two defensive mistakes cost Bryz the shutout but he still got the win (which is really what matters).  The worst part of the streak was the non-coverage by the ESPN Networks.  They were all over Bryz ( Read more... )
