I think that I've come full circle... again.

My first online character was a magpie. The next, a fox. From there, it went to kitsune, to gryphon (still with kitsune), to 'critter' (with assorted cast of background menagerie).

But one thing that I never lost through all of this: the love of birds and avians.

My plan for 2014 (which so far has not been going well) was - and kind of still is - to try and change jobs this year. I've been at the same company for over 10 years, in the same role, at pretty much the same level. Earlier this morning (April 10), I noticed that the primary drive in the mirrored  array on Critter.Net had failed. This has happened before, and either comes back with a reboot or I get the hosting service to replace the drive. So I rebooted the server.

And the server did not come back.
