- April 11 2011 - Application actually received by CIC
- May 17 2011 - Date of receipt letter
- July 12 2011 - Receipt letter received (thank you, Canada Post! I'm sure I might have got that sooner had you not been on strike)
- November 9 2011 - Status changed from 'Received' to 'In Process' (I ( Read more... )

Recently…
The parents are visiting - well, they have been since last Thursday. Which meant that I've had reason to be out and about to more interesting places of late.

MLP cons vs Furry cons
It struck me this morning that BroNYCon, the 4th of which is taking place in Seacaucus, NJ this weekend, will most likely reach their cap of 4,000 attendees.
The largest Furry convention, AnthroCon, took from 1997 until 2010 for them to reach that level of attendance.
Is it valid to say that the MLP fandom is larger than the Furry fandom at this ( Read more... ) -

Point Roberts, Washington
I wanted to get out of the house yesterday, and combined a Five Guys craving with a visit to the oddity that is Point Roberts, created by the Oregon Treaty back in 1846.
