I had been perplexed by one rule set forth at all the local roller skating rinks: NO HATS. Was this to discourage gangs? Encourage conformity? I made a really good contact last night. Rita Riggs designed Scrooge's costumes in A Christmas Carol this year (the show I've been working on for the past 3 months), and I got to meet her last night.
