I just received a copy of a letter the surgeon who did my procedure sent my insurance company. It states that he doesn't feel he was paid enough for the procedure and if he doesn't get more money, he is going to bill me for the balance. Can he do that? I'm completely freaking out right now.

My mind is up and ready to go, but my body just isn't. I have to remind myself that the surgery was only two weeks ago and they cut thru fat, muscle and intestines, so I'm only just on the mend now. I went to the store and tried to clean up a little as a friend is coming to visit tonight and am wiped out. I'm supposed to see my psych doc today ( Read more... )

After an intense week of pain, I am finally home from the hospital (nine days is enough, thankyouverymuch). Basically, those cramps I've been having were the result of my small intestine turning on itself and tying itself into a knot cutting off the blood supply. I guess I have a bug or a little something. Last night at work I had serious stomach cramps. When they passed, I was all doo di do and la di da and then a cramp would hit me and I'd be all bent over my tray pretty much unable to move or breathe really. This morning I have a non stop cramp. I'm not a candy person. I don't buy it though if you were to offer me a piece of your kit-kat, I wouldn't turn it down. However, this time of year my favorite candy comes out and I'm completely addicted. They are called Robin Eggs and they are essentially whoppers with a candy coating. I've been smoking again. here and there and once a day at least. I know, I'm a big fat loser. I quit last march. I have no willpower and I miss it even though I agree it's a dirty disgusting habit. If I stop now, do I have to start over with new chips like in AA? Or can I count the year still?

So on Saturday, I'm taking an order from a table and this man pushes me from behind. I hear two male voices say "excuse me" so I move into the table further to give them more room to pass. so you can call or text. It's not as cool as my other phone which is discontinued and the lcd display is acting up already, so i'll have to return it tomorrow, but i do have a new sim card with my old number.

and I have no landline and feel naked without my phone. I'm so pissed. It happened last night in the subway station and I had my backpack behind me while reading a good book and listening to music on my headphones, so it's my own fault.
