I start the mood stabilizer medication on Tuesday night. It has all sorts of fantastic side effects. I might even get out of work if the sedation part acts up. Or maybe I’ll just sleep better. I was out in the field yesterday, surveying. It wasn’t too cold, and in most spots the snow was almost completely melted - of course there were areas of snow drift up to 2 feet. Well, I don't have to go out drilling on Monday. I got to the office Friday morning and my coworkers came at me with a barrage of questions and incensed -though they weren't hiding it well- at Paul and Chris (Chris being the one who was supposed to do the drilling to begin with). Today was going "well." I woke up at 7am. Then I fell back asleep on my couch until 8:30am - oops - so I got to work late, which is fine by me. Unless something drastic occurs to change my mind, I will be moving to Miami, FL at the end of this summer and starting my PhD in geology at Florida International University. I was told this week by the head of graduate admissions to the Dept of Earth Sciences that I would have no problem getting into the PhD program at Florida International University.
