Interview weekend again.  It's my 5th one of these.  sixth if you count my own interview.  It's amazing how time flies.  I tell the incoming students I'm a 5th year and they're like "WOW!  you're an older student!  That's AWESOME"

and I'm like.. yeah... wow...  awesome...

at least I eat free today and have an unlimited supply of coffee...

what's a good gift for a parent's big birthday?  My mom is turning 50 next month.  I want to do something special for her.  The original plan was to fly out and surprise her, which I could still do, but tickets are pricey ($400 or so; flying to minnesota is so expensive!) and I can't go for more than like 2 days ( Read more... )

...Unless I want to get something for my goddaughter.  Dang I just remembered about her.

and I didn't do christmas cards this year, sorry.  I just didn't have time/motivation.  Next year.

Do any of you out there know anything about eczema?  specifically, how to make it go away?  I've done every home remedy short of actually going to a doctor.. My flight was *almost* delayed yesterday due to the extreme fog.  Thankfully it took off and i got into milwaukee only 20 minutes late.

Thanksgiving dinner at maggiano's, though slightly untraditional, was really freakin good.  I got my turkey and stuffing, probably the best ham and mashed sweet potatoes that I have *ever* had, along with caesar ( Read more... )
