Yolgnu ceremony
Four day ceremony and meeting with whitefellas that Bec attended two days of in Millingimbi in North-eastern Arnhem land as part of her job, last year. The women and men paint themselves according to which moiety/clan group they belong to. Under new NT laws brought into force last week, every child under 16 having consensual sex with another child under 16 is a child molester - and you have to report them. I've been AWOL for a bit. Surprisingly my health's been holding up quite well.
