Got some good news yesterday - my grandma, in whose honor I chopped off all my hair, is seeing her own hair grow back. YAY! She has one more radiation treatment to go, and everything is looking great.

Weird, how things fall into place sometimes
I've been applying for more jobs, and stressing a bit, and going slightly stir crazy from working only 3 or 4 days a week, and wondering how I have managed to make it this deeply into life without more marketable skills. I couldn't not-go back.
I left book club early this evening due to some rather nasty back pain, and as I was walking home I met this adorable cat. She was really sweet and didn't want me to stop petting her, but wouldn't let me pick her up. She followed me for about half a block, but then stopped and went back. kind of a strange day
Fairly quiet, restful week. The exercise bike arrived Friday, and is more fun than expected.
Today I had one massage appointment (normally I don't do Sundays, but he was originally scheduled for Saturday and had to move it) at the colonic place in Union Square (which I think is my favorite job right now - wish they were busier!). Anyway afterwards ( Read more... ) -

Workity work work
So, I got another job today. Yes, this makes 5 counting the private practice. It's another on-call situation, which I guess is a good thing, since I've been thinking that it would be best if I could just expand my office hours, which would hopefully bring in more clients, and on-call means I have the right to turn down an appointment if I already ( Read more... )
