It has been obvious for the last couple months that Izzy was teething. Well, there are two bottom front teeth ready to break through the gums. There are little white patches and fortunately the gums aren't swollen. I didn't think that I would get the feeling of not wanting Izzy to grow up so early in his life, but he is getting so big and being a big boy. Izzy has been sitting up for ~10 sec at a time for awhile. Today he was sitting up long enough for me to take pictures. I'd say he sat up for 30 sec to a min without intervention. Sometimes hurricanes bring good things. Like Gonzo having the day off, great cool weather, good chinese food, and best of all a child with the giggles.

We enjoyed a fancy night out ... dinner on our porch including Izzy entertainment.

We are soooooo lucky!!!

Izzy rolled over on his own today!!! He seemed a little confused but didn't cry.

I've been thinking about making this post for awhile. I'm just now getting some time and clarity to my thoughts. Before becoming a parent I used to think that some parents dont give their children enough distance. This sounds cold but you know how you hear of parents who let their children sleep in their bed till they are 6, 7 years old. ( Read more... )
