Okay. It’s now approaching the end of the High Holy Days season (my usual crunch time). I’m glancing in PBX’s direction now and again once more. And yet, I’m still not sure as to whether or not I should try showing up again.

Why is this, you may ask? It is quite simple. ( So simple, indeed, that I intend to provide an answer regardless of whether or not you’re actually curious or interested in hearing it. )

It would appear that I have failed myself again.

It would seem that ever since She started having me operate at least partially independently that my old complaint of personal arrogance flared up again. And once again, I didn’t even bother to see it for what it was until consulting those records I have made of my travels.

Perhaps this could be added to a guide somewhere: Avoid allowing your perception of how your character is “supposed to be” to limit roleplaying possiblities.

The Child that was Lost is now found.

I admit that I did not expect to play much part in this, but Houm specifically requested my help. I feel confident about what I have been able to accomplish, though I have had the easier part of the job. May Houm be Guided Truly and Well.

I’ve finally had the benefit of a conversation with Trilogee, and that Virus strain that appears, both by my evaluation and Papa Legba’s, to be a benefactor of hers. There are some interesting points about this particular variant, enough that warrant recording this log.
