Well, the forms are all filled out (along with checks) and ready to mail away - which I will do tomorrow. I've found a new book to read during my lunch breaks at work: the Torah. So far it has read like a rambling children's fable, filled with contradictions, repeated ideas, and written with broad strokes (not too much in the way of details, unless they happen to be of the trivial sort). Last night was my second One World by Night Vampire LARP. The crowd seemed a bit smaller than two weeks ago, but there was still a good turnout it seemed. So it turns out that lots of people like to hang-out at the Santa Monica beach and pier on a Sunday afternoon in the Summer. Julie and I spent more time just looking for a parking spot than we actually did bumming around the beach and pier. The dippin' dots made the trip worth it. Good times. My desk lamp has failed me. The thing is only two months old. Now I can't paint... I can still feel electricity getting to the bulb socket thingy... so the bulb must be burnt out. It doesn't look it, and it's still new. Oh well. Tomorrow, bulb shopping.

I've spent today cleaning up the code and making my website XHTML 1.0 Strict compliant. I'm fairly well satisfied with it, but still have a bit more to go. New features include a server status page for ventrilo and my journal embedded.

I still need a new logo to replace Nixon-bot 2.0.
