My friend violentdayzie told me to check your art out- wowie... your style, and subject matter, is fabulous... the art reminds me much of a book called The World and Thorrin... there are a few illustrations in it that are as intensely realistic as yours are... what is your medium? Charcoal primarily? very beautiful... you hae quite a gift... BTW- you are welcome to check out my gallery... but alas- they woudl look like finger paintings next to yours!!!

Welcome! Nice, I like your stuff.. you have much more than I do. I need to put more time into my own so I can get more done.

Yeah, right now I use charcoal. But I will be taking a medical illustration class this semester, so I hope to get more experience with different media through that class.. and also see if that's the professional direction I want to head.

Do you know of any opportunities in Austin for someone like that?

Thank you for the compliment! =)

Don't doubt! If you really want to get good at something, just keep at it. You will get better, and you will even amaze yourself. =)

Thanks!

I think you'd love charcoal. I hear a lot of people claim it's difficult to use, but it's really easy if you just take your time with it. Some of those drawings took me 14 hours to create.

I'm young an inexperienced, I've no problem admitting to that. I'm starting to give myself a little more credit as an artist, though. A hard thing for me to do. Charcoal is something i've always wanted to work with and never given myself the chance to. But your stuff...very inspiring.

Thanks for stopping by. Though I'm either too tired or too stupid to understand why you posted that poem.. lol, but nice drawings anyway.

Thanks =)

The poem is a song by Jason Webley. I posted it on a random drive-by posting. I get silly like that, sometimes, and just go on a crazy posting frenzy.

those are really great, i thought they were pictures at first... then i thought to myself "self? why would there be real pictures on a drawing site?" the rest of it just fell together...cause im great.
[yeah right] thankyou also for the poem, it too was great. i love how it is written. how do you post art up on a website, i draw quite a lot too, but i have no idea how to post my art. i mostly draw comics, but you can catch me drawing ther stuff too... not real people though, i can never catch someone in a drawing.

Thank you for the compliment!

How to post art.. first you will need to find a host. You might want to check with your internet provider to see if they have given you any free space. Many providers offer some free space to their users. If they don't, you can find services that let you post pictures for free, but I'd have to look them up as I don't know of any off hand.

Once you find a place to upload your pictures, you will need to upload the pictures to that server, then link to those pictures from you journal. I can help with the html on that, if you need.

If that was too confusing, just ask, I can try to make it more clear.
