I'm spending a week upside down for tax purposes. I taxed Elrond's patience.

I checked on Gimli last night, and I think she's the best babysitter we've ever had. Everybody's still alive, she's not gone missing, nobody's been bitten by a warg and there haven't been any explosions.

Uh, I'd say "under a rock" but that's occupied by Gimli. I've actually been busy caring for the new nestful, hunting for them and the mate, and trying to keep out of trouble until the mate's better able to bail me out if need be.

((Mun explanation: Mun's been around a bit, but only peripherally. Mun had a summer volunteer job that started in May and sucked up what passes for her free time like a black hole with a Big Gulp. Mun then discovered the need for a shovel to find any of her belongings, and realized her family was close to having her declared legally dead. Mun has finally mostly remedied these situations, so Puppet gets a life now.))
