I'm afraid that due to a conflict of some other stuff going on, I'm going to have to cancel my party this weekend. Sorry guys. It's not that much of a loss, though, since my RSVPs to date include lots of "No I can't" and a few "maybes" and no "yes"es.

I took the general GRE today. Immediate test score returns are 710 Verbal, and 690 Math. According to the little chart in the back of the Baron's GRE test review book, that puts me at 99th and 84th percentile, respectively. In three weeks I'll get my final composite, which will include my Analytical Writing section.

It's right at the intersection of 66 and 29. So marginally closer to civilization. Meanwhile, my mother continues to try to micromanage and bribe the workers into working faster. Oi. I swear, she's far more of a harm than a help.

Through a rather fortunate coincidence, I've been watching some documentaries on the life of Bruce Lee and on his martial art, Jeet kun do, while re-reading a biography of Miyamoto Musashi.
