One of my friends told me about that weather class. Lucky. I somehow still have to fulfill "Physical Science without lab."

You can take the course without taking the lab section. The lab section is optional for people who need to fulfill the GE lab requirement.
This is the class I'm using to fulfill "Physical Science without Lab."

what's this about an academic hold through the honors program? I ask only because I haven't done aaanything for honors since I got in and I'm starting to worry about the consequences...

If you took an honors class or if you were in a GE cluster, you're fine as far as honors requirements go until at least the end of this year. I took one cluster and one English honors course so I'm set until junior year.

I'm only on hold because I "retook" a class that I already got units for through something else (even though they never informed me that!) so the units got cancelled out and so I didn't meet the Honors ECP for that quarter.
