Cat Problems
So, my cat is sick. Specifically, I believe she has an abscess. She had a bump under her fur for months, but today, she started dripping blood around the house. We examined her, and it's red, bleeding, and smells bad. Right now, I think I am going to try to get her into the vet tomorrow, as we have several nearby. I'm also open to suggestions. Life update
Things have been extremely busy for me. My baby is coming on 5 months old now, and she's sprouting like a weed. Work is getting very busy, and because I have lots of free time, I have started a Master's in Electrical Engineering. So, we went and had our baby today. We didn't really want to, but there was little choice. Emergency c-section. More info later, but right now, I'm exhausted. Everyone's doing well thus far! -
Operation?
Today I went to the orthopedic specialist, as during MFF I messed up my knee. Well, sort of, at least. See, I think I screwed up my knee a while back, and every once in a while it acts up. It did so at MFF, and by last Tuesday I was in pain, and on crutches. I was referred to the ortho guy, who thinks I've torn my meniscus. What this means is that ( Read more... ) -
New Headphones!
Well, my old headset was destroyed by an accident with the vacuum cleaner, mere months after the last headset died due to an accident... with the vacuum cleaner. So, I have bought a new one. This one is a Logitech G930, and is wireless, so it will not be destroyed. There's a mic on them, which can be turned on and off. And wow, is it neat. It has 7 ( Read more... ) -

Even though I didn't get into the dealer's den this year, I still had a great time. I didn't make as much money as I usually do , of course, but I got to play a lot of games I would have missed. More Grad School stuff
Today I dropped all the classes I had for UC (University of Cincinnati). They have been horrid to work with, giving me a deadline of 6 days to sign up for classes, no night classes, classes being full already (maybe because we only had 6 days before classes started? So, after being in development in my head for years, I'm starting to work on the game I want to make. I think that it was missing an element, which Minecraft has sort of inspired me to add. Grad Student? Sorta
Thursday I went to my orientation for my Masters of Engineering. So yeah, I guess I'm a grad student now, at least part time. I'm going to be taking 1-2 classes a quarter, and working on my masters.
