Today we went to the Dallas World Aquarium, which is more like a mini zoo / rainforest exhibit than a strict aquarium.

Well shit.

The Mavericks just lost game 6 to the Suns and are out of the playoffs. The season is over. We were up 3 with only seconds left and Nash buried a 3 to send it to OT which we subsequently lost.

Such a disappointing season. I really thought we had a chance to win it all.

Just finished watching the Mavericks utterly kill the Rockets by 40 to advance to the 2nd round of the playoffs. I think this new couch is lucky or something.

This weekend was the best in recent memory. HHGTG was pretty damn good, there was swimming in the hotel pool, lots of good food (including VI pie for dinner), video games/partying, and very good company :)

Also, for those of you following along with the Finger/Mavs saga, here is an update: finger slightly better, Mavs have tied the series at 2-2

I'm going to have to find some place to watch the game Saturday afternoon.

I jammed the shit out of my finger and the Mavericks continue to play like ass.

At least work is going well.

My perfectly good day yesterday was nearly ruined by getting a speeding ticket on my way home from work only 200 feet from my house. I'm now going to be out at least $150 (not to mention the stupid time I have to spend dealing with this) all for daring to go 38 in a 30 in broad daylight on an empty street.
