Got the CFO to realize how important it is to me to get out of the Land of Spikey Bats
Got 1 step closer to getting another article accepted by MSDN Magazine (though they haven't given me a pub. date on the first one yet, even though they think it's good).
Attempted my first bit of Serious Cooking today. This involved procuring a cast iron skillet and various other bits and then pan searing some blackened tuna steaks. Got back from a decent visit to Tulsa. Meals and general hanging out were more fun than the New Years party itself, owing more to the huge number of people I didn't know and my unwillingness to actually try to meet any of them than anything else. Still the trip was well worth it.
