I'm scared and depressed that my dad isn't getting better.  His cancer has spread to his brain, and the swelling has caused him to lose some motor function and balance.  He can't start his clinical trial for his skin cancer until his brain issues have cleared up.  He's finished radiation treatments, and supposedly the treatments can take a few ( Read more... )

This morning it was much more difficult to wake up.  I ended up getting up for good at 5:30.  This morning I did a 40 minute Crunch: Cardio Pilates video.  Again, not too intense, but called on more muscles than yesterday.  It's 25 minutes of standing pilates and 15 minutes of traditional mat work.

I'll try to get to bed earlier tonight.

So this summer (not all of it, but much of it) I got back into exercising and counting my calories and trying to eat a balanced diet.  I worked out an average of 300 minutes per week, and most of it well within my target heart range.  I lost a couple pounds, but overall my weight has still stayed within 5 lbs of my lowest this summer, and it ( Read more... )

After a fitful night of little deep sleep, due to my body's decision to catch a cold, my raging hormones have subsided. :-P
