    So I should mention here that I'm uber-impressed with Rudd's articulation of his and the ALP's stance against the hanging of Saddam Hussein. His statement claimed that it would be hypocritical of him or of the ALP or, indeed, of anyone, to approve of capital punishment in Iraq while condemning it here ( Read more... )

    Well, I just spent three hours at a picketline in Nunawading. The site is Phonetec - they repair phones. The boss sacked a worker who had been working there for six years at $16/h.
