So much has happened since I last wrote about anything other than my nanowrimo novel. For starters, I got to about 25,000 words of my novel and got sick of writing, and got too busy in real life to have time to sit and write. Bah, humbug.

32-odd hours to go and 24,000 words required.

Not. Going. To. Happen.

I managed to hit 15k. I'm going to write another 5k today and then I will feel better about only writing 1,000 words yesterday.

I won't add another instalment now because 1,000 words is so paltry that it would embarrass my characters.

According to Today Tonight tonight, a particular family under pressure from rising interest rates has caused a family 'to go without luxury items and food for a couple of months.'

Can someone call CSIRO? Cos managing to go without food for a couple of months is a pretty awesome feat, and we should look into this. Bigtime.

I am sick to death of having my period. I've had it for three weeks, now, and I'm starting to worry about how much more blood I can physically stand to lose without sagging.

This just in: I found a grammatical error on funkyaneurysm's livejournal, commented on it, and he has deleted the error.

And, although his mistake has been shamefully covered-up on his own journal, I will proclaim it here: he used an apostrophe in its possessive. Yes! He did.
