The article I have to read tonight for my colonial American history class is entitled "Tocqueville, Turner, and Turds: Four Stories of Manners in Early America." No, really. I guess the awesome thing about tenure is getting to use words like "turd" in paper titles, and no one can say anything. Hee!

Like most vegan and vegetarian people who work in the food industry and/or consider themselves to be halfway decent cooks, I really hate Anthony Bourdain.
