I swear, the season changes make me crazy. I'm more depressed now than I have been all year. What is most troublesome is that I didn't recognise it in myself; my husband had to point it out. We are having some damn idiotic weather patterns. Winter has been unseasonably warm. Then we get a cold snap: -11F. Then two days later it's 50F. It's clear. It's foggy. It's raining. Sleet. Snow. Moon, no moon. Damp. Chill.

My joints ache and my head hurts. Most of the bipolars I know report having weird mood swings with the changing of the weather ( Read more... )

I was pleased with this ep. The heart of the source material was left largely intact. As a Sherlockian, I appreciate that. I also appreciated the Easter eggs thrown in for the fans - the Persian slipper, for example - and the inclusion of elements from other stories used to flesh out the plot. All in all, quite solid.
