I mopped, I cleaned, I ripped up a 3 x 4 foot area of subfloor in the kitchen.  I cleaned the yoga center.  I took Josie and her friend to Burger King to play because the coffee shop we like has closed for good.  :(  I did some laundry and picked up books from the library.  I also broke a nail and it feels weird, but I could play the piano better ( Read more... )

I visited my parents today.  don't know why I expect things to change.  I had to beg for a cup of coffee, they were barely cordial.  my bro and his wife and kids were there and my mom was hands on with them, but no touching for my two or me for that matter.  My dad gave me a hug and kiss when I walked up to say good bye.

I got tired of my kitchen curtains and hemmed some light green fabric I had gotten as a remnant and now have winter curtains.  I usually buy placemats and just clip them up there, but every once in a while I find fabric.  during the day the light shines through and they look sorta stripey and at night you can see the pattern ( Read more... )

Caroline is in the hospital, has been since Saturday night.  Today the second dr signed off for her sister to be power of attorney.  She will be going into a nursing home and Maybe eventually a group home.  She was supposed to be having some more surgery after the holidays, but if the drs determine she is not a candidate who knows what will happen ( Read more... )

My thanksgiving was ok. . .
