Thought of the day: Where do people go?

Heard that on the radio earlier. Finally found a station with more sound than static. Lucky day. Saw the sidewalk. Saw a bonfire.

Considerations of the day (what day is it again?):

Marigolds. So bright.
But buried under the snow.
Roses? Allergic.

Brought to you by the bottom of the last bottle of gin. Feeling parched again already. Damn.

The store around the corner is out of postcards and out of clove cigarettes. Yeah, that'd be the highlight of my day.

These days, it seems to be taking a lot less work to build a buzz. Three beer and I'm already light-headed. I assume it has something to do with that hollow feeling in my gut. I discovered a squirrel in my kitchen today. I assume he got in because I left the balcony door open again. He was on top of the cupboards so I climbed up on the counter to try and trap him but then he launched himself across the room, like he could fly or something.
