Bane bumped into someone in the marketplace, and thus received a memory crystal. Upon coming home and inspecting it further, he somehow activated it and, as his sight seemed to fail, the memory it contained came flooding back to him.

Oh, and, I found my Turtle Duck. She's a young one, and she doesn't like being cooped up in my room all the time, so I let her wander around.
