Last night after squeezing out a few hundred words, I went to bed too tired to write, but still thinking about the scene I was working on. I fell asleep after figuring out exactly what I wanted to say and how I wanted to write it. Now I can't remember any of it. I should really write via a tape recorded while lying in bed.

Hi. Let's see, what's goin' on. Well, I sold my rental property last Monday. Yay! No more worrying about tenants. We actually sold it to our current tenant, who was a former roommate of Josh's. I've only written once since I started my job on Dec 14th. Sigh. This is what always happens.

Ya know, I would write more every day if I knew what was happening in this part of the book. The word count crawls upward slowly as I struggle to figure out this subplot. I wish I had a camera on me right now. I'm hunched over the desk with Arry laying on my back, draped over my shoulder. She loves climbing on people's backs. I have job interview lined up with the US Census on Monday. I really thought I'd talked my way out of that one with my "attitude" during the temp job a couple weeks ago. I guess not.
