I seldom buy cookbooks, because I don't cook nearly as much as I would if I didn't live near venues owned and operated by people who cook far better than I do, but last year I was moved to purchase two after test-driving the library copies. I participated in this study after my bike accident a year and a half ago. My accident, it seems, was more typical of Toronto accidents than of Vancouver ones - only 3/150 Vancouver cyclists ran afoul of a train/streetcar track, compared to 45/150 in Toronto.
