Family stuff:

Raz and I spent 5 days with my mother and her husband after Dragoncon. I knew it would be difficult but I thought the time with my mother would be worth it. I could not have been more wrong.

Took Riley to the vet this morning for his last round of kitten shots... He put on yet another pound this week.

<.< He's at 6 pounds and he's barely five months.

We went to the pound and adopted an 8 week old kitten. He's a grey/cream tabby and he is very cute.

So, now the name game begins. The pound named him Herman and Pickle has been batted about.

Lately, however, Riley seems good to me.

We put Adiva down this morning. She was not recovering from kidney failure and it was not certain that she ever would.

Saying good-bye was very hard.

My baby kitty, Adiva, got very sick Friday night and all day Saturday. Finally, Hubby and I could take it no more and took her to the hospital. This morning we got a call... Adiva is suffering from kidney failure. They are trying to get her to produce Urine. If they can't restart her kidneys... well you get the idea ( Read more... )
