We're back from Crete and Turkey! WOW!!!!! What incredibly beautiful places. I wasn't sure places like that really existed, but the do. Crete was an extremely relaxing experience. Well, tonight was our final performance as a group for the Arad Arts Project 05/06. It was at a very swanky hip performance bar called Saloona and we packed it with people. Hey, haven't updated in awhile, but things are just fine. Woke up kinda sick this morning, but we're headed to Crete in like 5 days, so I'm thrilled for that. I'll do a real update soon. :-)

So we're back from Jerusalem. The workshop was bizarre, but went just fine. We basically just had people read scenes from our plays. It's always really hard to leave when we get to a city. Coming back to Arad is always a major letdown. Fortunately I made veg. lasagna tonight for a bunch of our friends and we had a great time and that always helps ( Read more... )

Well we had an absolutely wonderful time hiking up North in the Golan and I'll fill in detail when I have a chance, but right now I need to get to bed because we have to get up early tomorrow and hop a bus to Jerusalem to lead a playwriting and acting workshop for Israeli artist. Okay, we hop a bus in like 5 hours to go hike in the Golan for 4 days, so I need to get to bed, but things are definitely getting better all the time. Thanks to everyone for your wonderful emails and messages in a hard time. I'll give a full update and I'm sure plenty of stories about this trip, as soon as I get back.

A couple days ago KT and I went with our friend Sam and his friend from home Liz, who I now include among our friends, to the En Gedi Spa on the Dead Sea. For only $9 a person we spent the whole day soaking in sulfer baths (which smell really bad but feel really amazing), floating in the Dead Sea (always an incredible experience) and covering ( Read more... )

On Monday night/Tuesday Morning, right around midnight, our friend Alexander De Beer from Holland killed himself by jumping out of his window.
