New found freedom
Geoff is now taking CalTrain to work everyday. It eases stress for him, since he doesn't have to deal with traffic on the highway, and he also gets to write code for PseudoQuest during the 1 hour train ride. This also means that I have use of the car during the day ( Read more... ) -
I guess things are looking up
So, Xaroth is still unemployed. But, he's had two interviews with a company in Mountain View and they are currently checking his references. Will probably call him in for a third time next week so he can meet the CFO and CTO. He had a phone screen yesterday afternoon which led to an invitation for an in person interview next week ( Read more... ) -
Dancing, Dancing, DANCING!
Lucien danced for the first time last night. That cute little dance babies do where they stand in place and bounce up and down. It was during the Oscars ceremony, the performances of the Best Original Song nominees. He seemed to really dig the Indian music. This year might be the best birthday ever...
So, on my birthday this year the new Michael's store will be opening. I know I'm a total nerd for being so excited about a craft store opening, but I'm not ashamed. Yay! -
Surreal City Hall
We went to City Hall today. We needed to register uTime Games in California (as a sole proprietorship instead of an S Corp), and City Hall was the place to turn in forms and pay fees. So, my husband is no longer employed. He's been doing the work of a manager for months, without the title or the pay. Walk Like A Man
So, Lucien is officially a toddler. He's been practicing walking with this super cool toy he got from our friends John and Lisa.
